Soles For Souls
Thank you for your generous giving to Soles for Souls. With your help we were able to send 1,609 pairs of shoes to be given to the people in Shelby, Mississippi. That is above and beyond our goal of 1,500. |
Ministry Opportunity
Do you have the gift of encouragement and find fulfillment in helping those in need? GV Christian Center has some ministry opportunities on our hospital and nursing home visitor's team. Celebrate Recovery Step Study
We've all been hurt by other people. We've hurt ourselves and we've hurt others. As a result, every single one of us ends up with some sort of hurt, hang-up or habit. But the question we all face is, "Where do I go from here?" Experience God's healing power through this Christian Twelve Step program and the eight recovery principles. The women's step study meets Wednesdays at 6:30 pm in room 217. Leave behind what holds you back. |
KIDScamp
Parents, KIDScamp is just around the corner. So, if you want your kids to attend get them signed up NOW! It will be an adventure they will never forget: a time with great friends, great leaders, and a great time with God. Family Camp
Start planning now! Church camp will soon be upon us. We are planning for another wonderful time in the mountains near Ely, NV over Labor Day weekend, September 4th-7th. There are so many things to do including: gem hunting, cave exploration, fishing, sightseeing, museums, hiking, ghost towns and Great Basin National Park. Of course, the best part of Church Camp is the great food, fellowship and fun we have as families and friends. We close out our time with a big potluck, chili contest and time in worship with the Lord. We have places for you to tent camp or bring your RV. Spaces fill up fast so stop by the Box Office today to register. |
Prayer "Live"
GV Christian Center believes prayer is the one of the keys to building a relationship with God. Jesus said to 'ask, seek and knock'. We believe God does great things when we pray so join us for prayer "live" on Sunday mornings at 10:50 a.m. in room 229 on the 2nd floor. |

GV Christian Center is now an established charity with GoodSearch. GoodSearch, a Yahoo! Powered search engine, is actually a great way to raise money for any non-profit organization just by searching the web. GoodSearch donates 50% of its revenue and it doesn't cost you a thing! All you need to do is make www.goodsearch.com your homepage and your choice search engine. Once you enter the page, set Green Valley Christian Center as your charity of choice. Every time you search the web, GV Christian Center will earn one penny. Ten percent will go to Missions and the remaining amount will go to the GV4 fund.
