Homeless Outreach
There will be homeless outreach Sunday, October 5th. If you would like to help put meals together and also attend the outreach, please meet in the church lobby at 12:45 pm after the second service. If you would like to donate new clothes, backpacks, socks or money to buy these items, please drop them off at the Information Center. |
Celebrate Recovery Sponsor Training
If you have completed a step study and would like to be a sponsor to someone there will be a special Sponsor Training Class on Wednesday, October 1st, 2008 at 6:30 PM in Room 217. For more information call the church at 454-2722. |
Celebrate Recovery Step Study
We've all been hurt by other people, we've hurt ourselves and we've hurt others. As a result, every single one of us ends up with some sort of hurt, hang-up or habit. But the question we all face is where do I go from here? Step up and experience God's healing power through this Christian Twelve Step program and the Eight Recovery Principles on Wednesday nights starting October 8th, at 6:30 PM. The women's step study will meet in Room 220. The men's step study will meet in Room 217. |
Men's Basketball
Every Sunday at 6:00 pm, men from GV Christian Center play basketball. It is a great chance to fellowship and meet other guys. If you have any questions, please feel free to call the church office at 454.2722. |
Sunday Morning Prayer
GV Christian Center is devoted to prayer because it is the key to building a relationship with God. Jesus said to 'ask, seek and knock'. We believe God does great things when we pray. Join us for prayer "live" on Sunday mornings at 10:50 AM in Room 229 on the second floor. |
